Florian Busch Architects is an office practicing architecture and urbanism.

Based in Tokyo, FBA draws on a worldwide network of experts accumulating several decades of experience in the field of building.

FBA work at all scales, pursuing an architecture that actively shapes the society it is intrinsic part of. From the outset of any project, FBA devise specific strategies working in feedback processes with a diversity of experts to drive the design towards solutions beyond the imagined.

Founder and owner Florian Busch studied architecture in Germany, Japan, and the UK. After graduating from Bauhaus University in Weimar and the Architectural Association in London, he worked for Toyo Ito & Associates from 2004 until 2008 before founding FBA in 2009.

FBA are licensed architects in Japan (一級建築士事務所東京都知事登録第56523号) and Germany (183.537).
